About Betterhere
Betterhere helps Cherokee County homeowners find great local pros for their homes, and it's put together by people who live here too.
When we need a roofer, a new fence or someone to clean out the gutters, we want the same thing you do: someone local who does great work and actually picks up the phone. This guide is our way of helping you find them.
Local businesses and the people behind them
Every business in Betterhere is independent and based right here, in Woodstock, Canton, Holly Springs, Ball Ground, Waleska and the communities around them. We're also sitting down with owners for short video interviews, so you can see who they are and hear how they work before you make the call. Right now the guide has 99 businesses across 12 kinds of work, and the list is growing.
No sign-up, no middleman
You don't need an account or a form to use Betterhere, and we never pass your name or number to anyone. When you find a business you like, you call them yourself, so the only people who hear from you are the ones you choose.
Advice for homes like yours
Our homeowner guides cover the questions that come up around a house in North Georgia, from what to ask a roofer before you sign to when a Bermuda lawn actually wants fertilizer.

Betterhere is made by YARRD, a boutique marketing team here in Cherokee County. We work with local businesses every day, and we built this guide so our neighbors have an easy way to find the good ones.
We're glad you're here. If you know a great local business we've missed, tell us about it, and if you run one, we'd love to meet you.
